Type MCG coupling guards are available in 3 sizes for standard NEMA/ motor frames, diameters up to 9.63†(245mm), designed for use with close coupled applications. Guards are available in ANSI Safety Orange, ISO Safety Yellow, and sanitary white as standard. Type MCG guards are manufactured from High Density Polyethylene, the same material used in truck bed liners making the guard extremely tough and durable. Orange Peel guards are ideal for harsh environments and virtually eliminate all guard maintenance. Guards are top hinged with a stainless steel pin for easy access to coupling when needed. Radial vents allow for air circulation. Optional risers allow for center height adjustment. The sleeve extensions are trim-able to required lengths and end caps are provided to assure compliance with safety regulations.
