Series B22400 collar mounted spherical roller bearing units provide economic and versatile arrangements for supporting shafts that carry substantial radial or combination radial and thrust loads. These units are especially adaptable for conveyors, elevators, general industrial machinery, heavier duty fans and blowers, power transmission applications, ditchers, trenchers, pavers and other such applications. This series of bearing is easy to mount, sealed, prelubricated and does not require adjustment during mounting. Additional key features include: Spring locking collar locks inner ring securely to shaft; Choice of various seal types based upon application; Long inner ring for high stability and load support; Self-aligning double row spherical roller bearing adjusts +/- 2 degrees to allow for alignment variations between shaft and supporting structure; Double contoured retainer pockets assure accurate roller guidance and positive roller control.
