Shroud kits are offered as replacement service parts for Planetgear gear reducers. They are used to direct air over the gear reducer and act as a guard for the fan installed on the reducer high speed shaft. Kits include mounting hardware and a remote grease line kit. The remote grease line kit is supplied to relocate the seal purge facility from the seal carrier to the surface of the shroud.
