True Torque fluid couplings provide for soft cushioned starts, increased starting torques, overload protection, reduced current draw when starting,load balancing when multiple drives are utilized and load dampening. The HFDD25 type incorporates an extended (enlarged) delay fill chamber and provides for the longest delay in the acceleration of the load and is an excellent choice for high end belt conveyors, low inertia applications, and starting of empty belts.It is furnished with a disc coupling interface to the coonected equipment shafts.
