Type SN couplings use a tubular center shaft, fabricated complete by Rexnord. Connected shafts should be rigidly supported and long shaft overhand should be avoided. The tubular coupling shaft MUST NOT be supported with a bearing. They may be operated vertically if length does not exceed 36 inches.
