What data we process

• Data you send us with the quotation request and contact forms: name, company, email address, phone number, country, your message and, for quotations, the products and quantities you selected.
• Technical data: like any website, the web server records the requests it receives (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser). To limit abuse of the forms, a pseudonymised code derived from the IP address is kept for 24 hours.

The website does not have customer accounts and does not use analytics or profiling tools.

Purposes and legal basis

• To reply to your requests and send you the quotations you ask for: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep the website secure and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing your data is optional, but without your name and email address we cannot reply to you.

How the data is handled and for how long

The forms are not stored on this website: their content is sent by email to our sales office and kept as commercial correspondence for as long as necessary to manage your request and any following business relationship, and for the periods required by law. Web server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted.

Who receives the data

Our staff in charge of sales and administration, and the IT service provider that manages the website and its servers, appointed as data processor. The servers are located in the European Union. Your data is not transferred outside the European Union and is not disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

This website uses only one technical cookie, named rfq, which is set when you add a product to your quotation list and keeps the list while you browse. It expires when you close the browser and is deleted when you send the request. No analytics, advertising or third-party cookies are used, so no consent is required.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@tecnicaindustriale.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
