Ultramite UW is a right-angle helical worm drive. The Ultramite UW can be equipped with output accessories such as solid shafts, flanges, and CEMA seal housings and drive shafts for screw conveyors. The hollow shaft TA (torque-assist) tapered bushing with lifetime removal guarantee is also available. Units are available with solid shaft or standard NEMA C-face inputs. Dual lipped seals are included as standard. Advantages of this helical worm include better efficiencies, smaller envelope, and a more economical solution. Other available accessories include torque arms, base/end/top mount kits, drywells, backstops, double seals, and wash-down coating. Efficiency is 75% to 87% depending on ratio.
