The motor mount employs a “wide stance” arrangement that provides among the most rigid motor mounting available. Motor mounts allow for precise speed adjustment as needed through the use of a customer supplied belt drive. Motor mounts can be installed in a variety of positions on the gear drive, they simplify belt tensioning and accommodate NEMA T-frame motors appropriately sized for the gear drive. Fan & shroud kits can be used with most motor mounts if needed. When used in screw conveyor drive applications, the height of the standard motor mount has been designed to allow ample clearance over the trough to permit easy removal of the trough cover without disassembling the screw conveyor drive.
